This place is a jewel in the rough. Tucked away in inauspicious street and a bit sparse in outside appearance, but once walked in the door, wow! A nice entry area, where food also served. Then a neat entryway over a koi pond, to a central inner courtyard where the rooms are upstairs (also small elevator). Nice rooms, not overly spacious while comfortable and clean, with good bathrooms. Staff were very helpful with a rental car problem and also cheerfully handled a food allergy constraint. In all a great stay. I will definitely return when in Tainan again.

No problem communicating with the host. You’ll have to change shoes at the entrance hence the whole building is spotless clean, no dust. Breakfast is made by the host, fresh and tasty.
